The team loses against UCAM Murcia in the last quarter (71-93)
| Saturday, 11 October 2025
The Girona team started very active on both sides of the court, with a first half of 10-2 after a triple by Mindaugas Sušinskas when six minutes of play had been played. The reply from Sito Alonso’s team was not long in coming with a 4-18 half between the end of the first quarter and the start of the second period through points from Forrest and Ennis. Girona would manage to adjust the score with a three-point disadvantage and possession of the ball, but a turnover and a triple at the edge of the break from midfield would condemn them to -6 (30-36).
In the second half, Murcia would once again add notable advantages of less than ten points but an excellent defensive stretch by Moncho Fernández’s team would bring them back into the game (47-48) before two three-pointers at the end of the third period put the Girona team at -7 and were premonitory of the last quarter. The Murcian team, which until then had hit five three-pointers, would take the game with a 6/9 in a lethal T3 (71-93).
