Basketball Girona lost in the last minute against Real Valladolid Baloncesto in the fair match in Fontajau (70-73). After a negative first quarter, the team from Girona went on a 31-10 run between the second period and three quarters of the third to go away with thirteen points (56-43). Albert Sàbat gave an outside recital with seven triples (29 points) that catapulted the Girona attack.

The last ten minutes have been developed in a balance in the game and in the scoreboard in a scenario of short distances for the two combined that seemed to fall to the Girona side less than a minute and a half from the end (68-64). Two quick purple actions and three free throws by Wintering ended the victory for Valladolid (70-73).
