Girona Basketball loses to UCAM Murcia after a decisive third quarter (102-79)

Bàsquet Girona traveled to Murcia to face UCAM Murcia, a direct rival from which it was only one victory away.

From the very beginning, the match was marked by the high tempo. The white-and-reds were forceful in the paint, but the Murcians responded with energy. As the minutes passed, offensive transitions and the exchange of baskets marked a first half that ended 26-20.

Girona Basketball started the second quarter with a great success from the three-point line, ensuring that UCAM Murcia did not escape on the scoreboard. The pace was still high, and neither team could achieve defensive solidity. At the end of the first half, neither team was able to open a gap on the scoreboard and the game went to the locker room with a tight score of 47-46.

The tone was the same at the beginning of the second half, but with a great success from the triple, the locals put a +20 on the scoreboard. Bàsquet Girona wanted to respond to this strong run, but it was not enough, ending the game 102-79.
