First pre-season test against Baxi Manresa

Girona Basketball will face Bages in the 36th Sant Julià de Vilatorta tournament

The first pre-season test for Aíto García Reneses’ men comes just in the second week of training. The 36th Sant Julià de Vilatorta Basketball Tournament will be the stage, at 20.30 live on the Esport3 channel, of the first derby of the season between Girona and Manresa. 

Today’s opponent of Basketball Girona has returned to work after having one of its best seasons in the Spanish elite, last 2021-2022. The team coached by Pedro Martínez finished the season in seventh place, with a record of 20 wins and 14 losses in the regular season.

Right now, Aíto and his staff have the whole squad in dynamic training, except for Pato Garino, Maxi Fjellerup and Roko Prkacin, who are still concentrating with their selections.
