With this move, Bàsquet Girona continues to define its women’s sports project, with Quevedo as the fifth player confirmed on the squad after the renewals of Ainhoa López and Carolina Guerrero and the signings of Lola Pendande and Juste Jocyte.

Statements from Pere Puig, sports director: “With the arrival of Laura Quevedo we are adding more talent to the squad. She brings leadership and versatility, as she can play both as a winger (3) and as a power forward (4), and stands out for her great effectiveness from the triple. She is a player who is always at the service of the team. We have seen her take on different roles throughout the seasons, whether doing the dark work or shining with her scoring ability. An international with a lot of experience despite her youth, we hope that she can contribute a lot to us in Girona.”
