Infantil A, ready for the Global Basketball Experience

Infantil A will participate in the first U14 Global Basketball Experience 2016, a basketball tournament for Infants that will be held for the first time between Lloret de Mar and Blanes from March 19 to 24. This event will feature 30 teams – 22 male and 8 female – and a total of 360 players from around the world, apart from local representatives and from all over Spain. Serbia, Portugal, Germany, Japan, Holland and France will be represented in this basketball event in which the Catalan women’s team, current champion of Spain, will also participate.

For CEB Marc Gasol, given his connection with Girona, it is an honor to participate in the U14 Global Basketball Experience 2016 held in our region. At the same time, the orientation of the tournament towards the training of the players is identified with one of the pillars of our organization. This appointment will also allow the team led by Albert Roca and David Fernandez to enjoy six days with matches against other clubs from around the world,  an enriching experience and a further contribution to the players’ training .

In the first phase, Infantil A will debut this Sunday, March 20 against Partizan from Belgrade (9:30 a.m.) and in the afternoon they will face Sama (5:45 p.m.). On Monday, he will play against FC Barcelona (11:00 a.m.) in the last match of this first phase.
