Isaac Vázquez, new player for Bàsquet Girona

The Ourense player signs a contract for four seasons.

Isaac Vázquez (Ourense, October 10, 2004) is a new player for Bàsquet Girona until the 2029-30 season. The 1.93-meter-tall point guard arrives from Club Ourense Baloncesto (COB), after completing a remarkable progression in recent seasons.

Trained at Bosco Salesianos in Ourense, Vázquez played two seasons in the EBA League before joining Club Ourense Baloncesto. In his first campaign as a COB player, he played on loan at Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa, in the Segona FEB, during the 2024-25 season. With the Leonese team he played in the promotion qualifiers to the Primera FEB, accumulating experience and prominence in a demanding competition.

This past season he made his debut in the Primera FEB with Club Ourense Baloncesto. In the 32 regular league games he played, he recorded averages of 7.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, with an average rating of 10.1. His versatility in the outside positions, his ability to generate play and his defensive intensity make him a future addition with ample room for growth for the Bàsquet Girona project.
