Third consecutive victory for the senior, which prevails over Club Básquet Roser (82-67) in a match that dominates from the beginning

The Girona Básquet senior has recovered his good feelings in recent weeks. This afternoon, it beat Club Básquet Roser (82-67) and remains alive in the race to access one of the two places for the promotion phase to LEB Plata. It remains third in the EBA CA group (16-7), one win and the average lost by Vive El Masnou Basketball and Club Bàsquet Menorca (17-6), who also won this day. The team led by Quim Costa has once again demonstrated its reliability in Fontajau, where it has only lost one of the twelve games played there this season.  

Contrary to other days, the Girona team came out very active and the first few minutes were brilliant, with a lot of intensity, ball circulation and success after finding good shots (23-12 at the end of the first quarter). The visitors entered the game from the second quarter, being able to counter the home game and locate comfortable situations to score. The +3 in the half reflected that. The passage through the changing rooms has been reconstituting for Básquet Girona, which has recovered the rhythm, verticality and defense of the first minutes. This allowed him to complete a 12-0 partial run – from 39-38 (22′) to 51-38 (26′)-, a hole that the Barcelona team would never recover from. The team, with a very long rotation, would not slow down at any time and would have a difference of 18 points (58-40, 29′), in a game in which it has also been very inspired by the triple (47 .1% correct).  

The senior’s next engagement will be on Saturday, April 14 in the afternoon, at the Aracena AEC Collblanc track (7 p.m.).
