A puppy should never eat adult food, as their nutritional needs are very different. It is important to monitor their growth and weight gain frequently to detect any possible deviations from the average, which may alert us to future skeletal problems. In order to promote controlled growth, it is essential to keep the following in mind:
Nutritional needs: A puppy must eat specific foods from its weaning, in which it leaves breastfeeding, to the end of its growth stage (which varies according to the average size of each breed or crossbreed)
Excess of minerals: Do not supplement with minerals, apart from those already incorporated in the daily food, as we can affect the development of your skeleton
Excess calories: Do not abuse prizes or envelopes or homemade envelopes in order not to unbalance the daily diet, due to the fact that an excess of calories can favor the appearance of pathologies in the future
