Two months after the first match, Bàsquet Girona will face Covirán Granada for the second time this Sunday, February 7 in Fontajau (12:00). The Granada team has resumed competition this week after having not played for 42 days due to the Covid-19 measures.

Pablo Pin has all his players, as during this break he has been able to recover three of his injured players. “It’s difficult to single out someone from Granada because I would have to talk about all the players. Most of them have a lot of experience and a lot of talent. We have to do very well to have a chance of winning, but I trust the team.” The Andalusian group consists of a remarkable squad in terms of scoring ability , among these players we find Christian Díaz and Lluís Costa, point guards with experience in the ACB and a ten-year career who stand out in the league for their mastery of the game. In the interior area, the center forwards Alejandro Bortolussi and Joan Pardina stand out working on defense and rebounds inside the court and the presence of Bamba Fall in the paint.

Statements by Carlos Marco:

“Every day that passes, ‘Pepo’ helps us more and is more integrated. Before coming, he had already seen us, he knew about the staff we have, how we worked and he had been informed about the league.”

“To single out someone from Granada is difficult because I would have to talk about all the players. Most of them have a lot of experience and a lot of talent. We have to do very well to have any chance of winning, but I trust the team.”
