Second win for the U18

The team led by Carles Ribot and Arnau Sacot adds the second victory in day 3 of the stages of access to Junior Preferent, this time against CB Igualada A (66-47)

The U18 played a balanced first quarter of the game this Friday which ended 8-10 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Girona players were able to turn the score around with intensity and effort, so that the result at the break was in favor of the group led by Carles Ribot and Arnau Sacot (31-26).

In the third quarter, a 7-0 run from Girona extended the lead in favor of the U18s. The constancy and sacrifice of the visitors have made it possible to reduce the score again (39-33).

In the last quarter, the Girona team stayed ahead on the scoreboard and were able to add their second win in this phase of access to Junior Preferent. The next match will be today, Saturday, at the UE Mataró B court (5 p.m.).
