Básquet Girona and Uni Girona sponsor the grassroots teams.

Apadrinaments is an initiative where Básquet Girona and Uni Girona visit the base teams of the club. It’s a dynamic that has been going on for 4 years now for Básquet Girona, and for two years for Uni Girona, which started collaborating with this activity last year. With this initiative players from both teams visit both women’s and men’s base teams.

During their visit, the players attend training sessions at the base, play with the boys and girls and carry out various activities with them. In addition, they give them advice from their own experience and answer all kinds of concerns that the little ones may have.
With this dynamic, the grassroots teams have the opportunity to meet their idols, receive advice from them and learn and enjoy the experience of meeting professionals from Bàsquet Girona and Uni Girona.
