The club, very present in the Globasket

The U13 and U14 will participate in the tournament and Jesús Escosa and Marc Pena will hold a conference on Sunday

The Girona Marc Gasol Basketball School will once again participate in the Globasket, which will be held from Saturday 8 to Thursday 13 April in the towns of Blanes and Lloret de Mar. In this year’s edition, the second of the tournament, more than a hundred teams from 22 different countries will participate. From the club, there are two registered, the U13 (category U14 A1&A2) and the U14 (U14 elite). The matches of the first phase will be played until Monday and, from Tuesday, the final phases. This is the program for the first three days:

U13

Saturday April 8 . Against KK Drava Ptuj from Slovenia (10:45 a.m., green court 1 in Blanes)

Sunday April 9 . Against KK Mladost Zemum from Serbia (4 p.m., green court 2 in Blanes)

Monday, April 10 . Against America Academy Casablanca from Morocco (9 a.m., green court 2 of Blanes) and Experia Zentro San Jorge (7:30 p.m., green court 2 of Blanes)

U14

Saturday April 8 . Against SC Armia de Giòrgia (4 p.m., Blanes red court)

Sunday April 9 . Against Argentina’s Club La Unión de Colón (7:30 p.m., green court 4 in Blanes)

Monday, April 10 . Against Fuenlabrada (2:15 p.m., green court 1 in Blanes)  

At the same time, the technical secretary, Jesús Escosa, and the sports director, Marc Pena, will offer a conference on Sunday 9 (3:30 p.m.) at the Flamingo hotel in Lloret de Mar. Under the title “Escola Básquet Girona Marc Gasol, an educational project”, they will explain in detail what the philosophy of the organization is and its working methodology.
