The next challenge is in Albacete

The senior will look to reaffirm his good start in the LEB Plata tomorrow Sunday in the city of Manx (12:15 p.m.)

After two days, the senior from Básquet Girona is one of the four undefeated in the East group of LEB Plata. The fact that the team led by Quim Costa has started the competition on a good foot, however, does not guarantee anything in view of the upcoming commitments. The Girona team left this afternoon for Albacete, where tomorrow at noon (12.15 p.m.) they will have to face another demanding match.  

Founded in 2012 following the union of the main clubs of the city, the current one is the third consecutive season of Arcos Albacete Basket in the LEB Plata. Last year, he was eliminated at home, in the fifth game of the semi-finals  play-off against Real Canoe (2-3). Of that team, only the coach (Alfredo Gálvez) and one player (David Maldonado) have remained. It has had to be clean and tidy and it has preferred to bet on foreigners. There are seven in the squad. The last to arrive was the Danish winger Zarko Jukic, signed in the middle of the week and who will make his debut tomorrow. Statistically speaking, the mainstays are the American interior pair: Tyler Rudolph (15.5 points on 54.5% on three-pointers) and Marcus Van (15 points, on 61.6% on two-point shooting, and 12 rebounds on average ). The Mancheques are eighth (1-1), after defeating CB Vic-Universitat de Vic in their debut (88-61) and losing on Wednesday at Real Murcia (77-61).
