The subsidiary of Gran Canaria lands in Fontajau

The senior will look to maintain the line of play that has led him to win four consecutive games

Fontajau will be the stage where Básquet Girona will try to achieve the fifth consecutive victory but also maintain the dynamic of the game that has led them to achieve it. He will do it next Sunday against Gran Canaria B (1:00 p.m.) in what will be the third game of the season in Fontajau. The next opponent of the senior still does not know the victory away from his court.

Gran Canaria B, founded in 1994, will play the second season of its history in LEB Plata after being promoted from EBA. The subsidiary of Herbalife Gran Canaria has a young squad (19.1 years old on average) and with projection trained by Salvador Camps, assistant coach of the first squad last year. The Canarian team keeps 7 players from last season and has added four pieces to the gear, coming from the United States, LEB Plata and EBA.

The Canaries are the third highest scorer in the category (Antonio Vrankovic, 62 points), the third highest assist (Jovan Kljajic, 16 assists) and the third highest rebounder (Rubén López de la Torre, 32 rebounds). Although they have two defeats on their record, the team coached by Salvador Camps will arrive in Fontajau after two victories even if it has not been released far from their track. In this start, the most outstanding performance was that of Khalifa Diop in the last game: 15 points, 9 rebounds, 7 fouls received and 29 rating.
