Three CEB Marc Gasol teams will participate in the Costa Brava Girona International Basket Cup

The Cadet A and the two children (Infantil Blau and Infantil Vermell) of CEB Marc Gasol will take part in the Costa Brava Girona International Basket Cup, a tournament that takes place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of April in various towns in the Gironès (news of the presentation in Diari de Girona and L’Esportiu).

In the Children’s category, Infantil Vermell has been placed in Group 1 with Fundación 5+11 A (a team linked to Baskonia), Boscos Ciutadella and another team yet to be confirmed, and will play in the group stage matches in fourth pavilion; Infantil Blau, for its part, will face CB Valladolid, Sant Lluís Menorca and a third team yet to be confirmed in the first phase, at the Fornells de la Selva pavilion.

As for the Cadet category, CEB Cadet A Marc Gasol has been placed with the 5+11 A Foundation, Sant Nicolau and Sant Lluís Menorca, and will play the matches of the qualifying phase at the Vila-roja pavilion from Girona.

The competition system is as follows: in each category there are four groups of four teams each, which face each other. Once the first phase is over, the first ones face off two by two, the second ones as well, and so on. and, finally, the finals are played to decide the final positions of the classification.
