Tilbe Şenyürek, third addition to Spar Girona

The Turkish pivot, who arrives from Fenerbahçe Opet, strengthens the team's interior game.

Tilbe Şenyürek (Turkey; 26/04/1995) is a new player for Spar Girona for the upcoming season. The 1.92-meter-tall center comes from Fenerbahçe Opet, where she has played the last three seasons and won two Euroleague Women (2024 and 2026).

Şenyürek is a player who will bring extensive experience to the team’s interior game. Apart from her career at Fenerbahçe, she has extensive experience in her country’s league and in Europe, where she has also played for Galatasaray, Botaş SK and AZS AJP Gorzów in Poland.

Tilbe Şenyürek becomes the third signing for Spar Girona, following the announcements of Iyana Martín and Juana Camilión . The player will join the team once her participation in the World Cup this summer is over.

International with Turkey

The new Spar Girona midfielder is an international with the Turkish national team. In the last EuroBasket Women 2025, Şenyürek played a total of 6 games, recording averages of 11.9 points, 8 rebounds and 14.5 rating per match.

With her arrival, Spar Girona adds inches and skill to the paint. She is a center who stands out for doing her job well under the hoops, providing solidity in the rebound and opening up the field thanks to her good outside shooting.
