Two finals out of four this weekend

In the semi-finals, the U17 will play host in Montfalgars against Remacat SA Súria and the U18 will face UE Mataró B in l'Escala

Only two of the club’s teams have official competition this weekend and both aspire to win the Catalan title in their respective categories. 

U17

The team led by Quim Gala and Conrad Barris will play the 1st year Junior four-way final at home, in Montfalgars. It will face Remacat SA Súria in the semi-finals on Saturday (7 p.m.), one of the three teams that has been able to defeat it during the season (62-57 at Bages). In the first round, the Girona won clearly by 79-49. Before this match, the other semi-final will be played between JAC Club Sants B and UE Mataró 1 (5pm). The final will be the following day, Sunday afternoon. The winner will have a place in Preferred B for the next season.  

U18

The Escola Básquet Girona Marc Gasol will travel to L’Escala to compete in the four-way Junior Interterritorial final. The U18s, who arrive after 27 victories, will face UE Mataró on Saturday (4:30 p.m.), top of Group 1 (24-2). The other semifinal will be played by Catalana Occident Manresa B and Aracena CB Sant Josep B (6:30 p.m.). The final will be played on Sunday at noon.
