Victories of Infantil A and Cadet A in direct confrontations

Infantil B loses to Farners
Defeat of the Infantil B in a match in which the team led by Arnau Sacot and Marc Costa was behind on the scoreboard for much of the time. Defensive mismatches punished Infantil B in a match in which Alex Adsuar could not play a single minute due to injury and Llorenç Costa was injured in the same match. Infantil B had one last possession to force overtime or take the win, but it was not possible and the final score was 79-78.

Victory in extremis for Infantil A
The Girona team won their visit to the JAC Sants court by a close score of 61-62. Infantil A enjoyed advantages on the scoreboard in the first half but in the second half the locals reduced them. Finally, the Girona won and scored a victory.

Cadet B’s defeat on the leader’s track
Cadet B lost in a match against UE Mataró in which the Girona team could only dominate the first minutes of the first period. From then on, the locals were much more solid and widened the difference in the score. In the last quarter, Cadet B was able to make up the result but without options to take the victory. Biel Espunya, Joan Guich and Gerard Portas could not play any minutes.

Cadet A victory in the Girona derby
Cadet A won 55-63 in their visit to the CEB Girona court. A tight match in which CEB Marc Gasol dominated 30-37 at halftime with a triple on the horn. In the third quarter, the locals were ahead with minimal advantages, but Cadet A managed to turn the score around and take the victory against a direct rival in the classification.

Júnior B falls on the Basket Almeda court. The Girona team fell clearly (71-44) in a match in which the Girona team trailed the whole match and in which the home team gradually gained the lead. With this stumble, Junior B remains at the bottom of its group with six defeats.

Junior A added another victory, in this case by 44-76, in the match played on the Basquet Neus court. The Girona players were superior to the locals and gradually took advantage of the scoreboard until they closed out a new triumph.
