President Marc Gasol shows his satisfaction with the collaboration agreement with Girona FC to promote the practice and values ​​of sport

Girona Basketball and Girona FC presented this afternoon the collaboration agreement with which they intend to promote the practice of sport and its values. They want to do this by organizing a series of activities together, from the launch of sports days to the joint participation in Fairs and representative events in the city. In addition, the club will wear the Orgull Gironí slogan on their shirt next season. “For me, Girona FC is a reference club. We want to work together, to learn from them”, explained the president, Marc Gasol. In the same line, the president of Girona FC, Delfí Geli, expressed himself: “The two clubs want to join forces and find synergies. Try to be better every day. We have been talking about this link for months and, from day one, they’ve been open to everything.”

“Today marks four years since we started the adventure with Básquet Girona and we must continue to grow from the bottom up, with good foundations. We are a reference in the region and we want to continue like this,” said Marc Gasol, who emphasized: “The my bond with Girona is one of gratitude. I lived there for two years as a player and I had such great emotions that I felt the need to give back to the city everything it had given me.”
