The start of the game was somewhat erratic on the part of both teams, with low scoring (14-10 at the end of the first period) and a physical game under both baskets. Joventut de Badalona found a way to score more often and went into the break leading the scoreboard with a score of 43-24.

In the second half, the forces were equalized and Básquet Girona managed to find a way to score. Improving many aspects, especially the outside shot (5/7), the team won the third quarter 18-27. Finally, the momentum was not enough and the Rock won the 37th Tournament of Sant Julià by 83-68.
