The team loses on the court of UCAM Murcia despite the good reaction of the team in the second half (81-73)

The match started evenly in the first minutes, with the home team establishing the first differences (17-10). The Girona reaction came from the wrist of Kenny Chery who entered the rotation to add more than half of the team’s points in the partial, 10 points (21-19). The second period was different. Murcia managed to give the Girona side a bonus before two minutes had passed and Fotis Katsikaris’ team also failed to attack for most of the quarter. After a triple by Sušinkas (30-24), the locals made a partial run of 13-5, taking many shooting fouls, which tipped the balance.

In the restart, the team from Girona was more forceful on both sides of the court, with tighter defenses and scoring at the front, reducing the distance to below ten points. In the end, the team managed to cut the distance even further, to five points (66-61), with a good performance, but Murcia managed to stop Girona’s good dynamic with a partial that put them back ahead comfortably (81-73).
