Girona Basketball starts the season with a presentation day in Fontajau

Bàsquet Girona has celebrated the welcome day for the players of the men’s and women’s teams, an event that took place at the Fontajau facilities and served to present the general functioning of the club and give the official start to the season.

During the meeting, the players learned first-hand about the organizational chart and the functioning of the different departments of the entity, as well as the internal codes that govern the day-to-day operation of the structure. The activity was attended by Stefi Batlle (CEO), Clàudia Batlle (Player Operations Manager), Bru Rovira and Pau Robert (Team Managers), Pere Puig and Fernando San Emeterio (Sports Directors) and Xus Escosa (General Manager), who explained their functions and the way they work within the club.

The day began with a welcome from the Club’s CEO, Stefi Batlle, who kicked off the new season. Batlle addressed the players and members of the technical staff to explain the club’s ties to the city and province, and highlighted the club’s deeply rooted values, both on and off the court.

He also explained that it is a project with a solid foundation and an eye on the future. He highlighted that we have a loyal, passionate and committed fan base, which accompanies, encourages and never gives up. Each match in Fontajau is a demonstration of collective passion and Girona identity. The teams must be competitive and must always show a strong sense of belonging.

With this day, Bàsquet Girona reaffirms its commitment to proximity and teamwork, highlighting the people who are part of the organization and establishing the foundations for the 2025–2026 season.
