Bàsquet Girona started with the desire to impose itself in the rhythm and the score from the beginning with an initial 14-5 run with a great Otis (author of 11 points and 16 evaluations in the first half). The other Girona player who scored 11 points in the first period was Mark Hughes, leading the scoring and contributing on defense. In the closing minutes, three Girona triples put the lead at +8 and put the home team on track for victory, which ended up securing it with two free throws from Pep Busquets with five seconds left, with no time for any rival comeback (85-81).
