Four victories in three months of January in the ACB

Bàsquet Girona continues to build its career in the Endesa League with firm steps. Since its debut in the ACB, the Girona team has managed to add four victories in three of the four months of January that it has competed in the best domestic league in Europe.

The first of these would arrive in January 2023 , in a season marked by the challenge of consolidating itself in the elite. The team came out strong both at home and away with four consecutive victories against La Penya, Fuenlabrada, Bilbao and Granada.

Two years later, in January 2025 , Bàsquet Girona would once again demonstrate its competitive capacity with four victories, three in a row in Fontajau, which would allow the arrival of Moncho to see the light after a complicated start to the season. And important victories. After winning at home against Lleida, the Girona team would beat three teams that would end up playing in the league play-offs: Barça, Baskonia and Unicaja.

The path has been maintained this January 2026 , with two new victories that confirm the good line of the team and its evolution within the competition, becoming strong in this case as a visitor, with three away victories against Manresa, Penya and Zaragoza. To round it off, on the last day of the month, the Girona team would achieve the first victory of the year 2026 at home against Burgos.

With these four victories, the team has achieved its ninth earliest victory since it has been in the ACB.
