Iyana Martín joins SPAR Girona after two seasons with the Salamanca-based side, where she established herself as one of the brightest talents in Spanish basketball. Last season, she was named the LF Endesa National MVP, selected to the league’s Best Five and averaged 14.3 points and 4.6 assists per game.
Developed at Segle XXI, she has also impressed in European competition, winning the EuroLeague Women Young Player of the Year award in 2024/25. A senior Spanish international, she has enjoyed numerous successes at youth level and won a silver medal at EuroBasket 2025. In 2026, she was selected with the seventh overall pick in the WNBA Draft by the Portland Fire.
