Girona Basketball adds Corey Davis Jr.

The American base arrives from the Pallacanestro Trieste of the first Italian league

Corey Richard Davis Jr. (Lafayette, 1997) signs for Básquet Girona on a temporary basis. The American baseman (186 cm.) arrives at the Girona team from Pallacanestro Trieste of the Italian LBA Serie A.

After playing two seasons in the NCAA for the Houston Cougars, Davis lands with Afyon of the Turkish Premier League in the 2019-20 season. The following season he would play at Gravelines in the top French competition. In 2021-22 he would start wearing the shirt of Mornar-Barsko zlato of the ABA League and, in the month of November, he would sign for Pallacanestro Trieste of the LBA Serie A, with which he would renew for the last season 2022-23.

Corey Davis credited 13 points, 4.5 assists and 11.1 rating credits in the first Italian league last season.
