Sergi Martínez, historical leader in ACB valuation of FIATC Girona

The Bàsquet Girona player surpasses Iroegbu and is at the top of the club's historical ranking in the Endesa League

FIATC Girona’s victory over UCAM Murcia on the first day of the Endesa League also left a historic figure for Sergi Martínez. The Girona captain has become the player with the most accumulated evaluation credits in the history of Bàsquet Girona in the ACB, with a total of 748.

Martínez thus surpasses the 744 valuation credits of Iroegbu, who until now led this classification. The Catalan player thus becomes the historical leader of Bàsquet Girona in valuation in the Endesa League, with a four-credit difference with respect to the previous leader.

This new milestone reinforces Sergi Martínez’s role as one of the great figures in the club’s history. The Catalan player continues to expand his legacy with the Bàsquet Girona jersey and does so, moreover, in the season in which he serves as the team’s co-captain, along with Martinas Geben.

The data comes after an unbeatable start to the Liga Endesa for FIATC Girona, which opened the season with a victory against UCAM Murcia in Fontajau.
