After an equal first few minutes, Real Madrid was the first to establish the first differences, managing to close the first period ten points ahead. The reaction of the visitors through the defense and the scoring inspiration of Stefan Đorđević inside and Eric Vila outside has ostensibly reduced the distance to be two points below before the break despite the local basket (48-44).

In the resumption, Real Madrid added a partial 6-0 that put the difference of ten points with which they managed to dominate the second half, with a particularly active Vincent Poirier in both circles (37 rating) under the tutelage by Facundo Campazzo (27). The team did not give up and in the last part of the game they had possession to come within four points of the rival but Real Madrid closed the game with a thirteen point difference (92-79 ).
