This Saturday, November 18, Básquet Girona plays its second home game in a row, against Río Breogán (8:45 p.m.). The Galician team is in sixteenth position (2-7) and comes from a home win against La Penya in ACB (85-77) and a defeat in European competition against Hapoel Holon (84-79).

Breogán continues to be coached by Veljko Mrsic but has changed several parts of his gear. It continues to have the leadership of Sergio García in the game and the scoring side of Stefan Momirov. In addition, they have brought in emerging Argentine talent Juan Fernández to complement the inside game.

Previous party statements:

Salva Camps: “I don’t care much about victories and defeats. I believe more in the day-to-day, in the work, that when you see it, it plays in a specific way with virtues and flaws. It’s about correct the defects.”

Markel Brown: “We have the most average possessions in the league. I think when we can end up shooting more possessions, we can also use our great ability to rebound offensively to put up points.”
