Two Girona Basketball players have approached the Els Joncs foundation in Sarrià de Ter. Markel Brown and Juani Marcos have seen firsthand the tasks that this non-profit organization carries out.

It is a foundation that carries out job placement tasks for people with intellectual disabilities. Our players got to know first-hand the people in charge of the foundation and its members.

This dynamic has allowed the men and women of this organization to ask the players about situations they live in on a day-to-day basis, what professional basketball is like, personal curiosities and teach them what tasks they carry out at the center. This action has the support of CaixaBank.
