The last day of the league left a final result of 36 to 53 in favor of CBSR Elche, in a match marked by the effort of the Girona team, but they could not overcome the Elche team despite a good start to the match.

The game started very evenly, with both teams fighting head to head for every point. The first quarter ended in a tie at 13, with both teams demonstrating their defensive solidity and ability to attack at key moments.

At the start of the second quarter, the Girona team took a small lead with a 4-0 run, but then CBSR Elche responded with a 0-6 run that gave them control of the match. Thus, the halftime score was tight at 20-23, with the Girona team watching their rivals take advantage of small mistakes to advance the score.

The third quarter was decisive, with Bàsquet Girona conceding a 0-13 deficit. This bad period left the score at 22-36 at the end of the third quarter, a disadvantage that was difficult to overcome.
