The game started with an outstanding offensive rhythm (7-10, 3′) after a triple by Markel Brown, followed by a Galician superiority on both sides of the court that allowed them to make a partial 17-4 . The hierarchy of Quino Colom, the points of Iroegbu and Brown, making the difference on the outside, and the good collective defensive activity have allowed the team to come back first with a partial 0-12 that has widened to 5-21 after two free throws by Eric Vila (35-39).

As in the first period, in the resumption, Obradoiro managed to find the right triple with a 4/7 that catapulted his attack, also inside, achieving a partial 29-14 that allowed him take an 11-point lead with Thomas Scrub leading (19 points and 32 rating). Girona’s response did not take long to arrive, with a partial 4-17 that allowed them to recover. In the final minutes, the opposing team was more complete in attack and defense, which allowed them to take the victory (85-79).
