Básquet Girona started the match in a solid way, adjusting the defense very well and getting the opponent to score only ten points in the first nine minutes. Always taking the initiative on the scoreboard, the team from Girona has also added to the attack, finding points from outside but mainly inside, at the low post or in second options (12 for 26 total rebounds in the first half).

In the second period, Río Breogán was more successful, both inside and on the perimeter, and the Girona team sweated more in the offensive section, finishing three points behind with a three-pointer in the last seconds (39-36 ).
