Klara Holm shines in the Five Ideal of the Euroleague Women's Final Six

Spar Girona closes its participation in Zaragoza with three individual recognitions.

Spar Girona leaves the Final Six with their heads held high and with the talent of their players officially recognized by FIBA. The big star of the week was Klara Holm, chosen among the Ideal Five of the Final Six.

The Swedish point guard has been the driving force behind Roberto Íñiguez’s team in the decisive matches against Umana Reyer Venezia, Fenerbahçe and Casademont Zaragoza. Holm has shown a spectacular level, averaging 14.7 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, achieving an average rating of 19.3.

Recognitions in the season of Coulibaly and Jocyte

In addition to Holm’s award in the final phase, the Euroleague has awarded the Girona block’s consistency throughout the regular phase. Mariam Coulibaly’s effectiveness in the paint has been rewarded with her inclusion in the Second Best Quintet of the competition. The center has signed a dominant course with 15.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 17.3 rating per game.

For her part, Juste Jocyte has been included in the Third Best Quintet of the season. The young player has confirmed her evolution in the European elite with averages of 11.6 points, 4.4 assists and 11.8 rating, closing a triplet of awards that confirms the great growth of the Spar Girona project in Europe. In addition, the player was also nominated for best Rookie of the season.
