In the second half, Bàsquet Girona came into play with five minutes remaining, and were superior for the remainder of the fourth quarter. Even so, the Girona team has not been able to reduce the difference in the score to less than 10 points. A triple in the last second for Zaragoza made the difference even wider, reaching thirteen points. (62-75)

In the last quarter, Casademont Zaragoza nullified the Girona team’s attempts to win the game. Fontajau became the number six player that the team needed, never ceasing to encourage in any facet of the game. With five minutes remaining, the home team reduced the difference to seven points and were able to put themselves at 5 after a layup that Martinas Geben was unable to connect. With two minutes left in the game, poor defense by Bàsquet Girona sentenced them, widening the difference to 12 points (89-101).
